In response to the urgent global need for sustainable and climate-friendly food systems, SLYCAN Trust Youth initiated the "Youth Dialogue on Innovative and Climate-Friendly Food Systems" event series. The first phase of this initiative brought together a diverse group of young leaders, climate enthusiasts and innovators passionate about addressing the environmental and social challenges within the food industry.

The inaugural event, held on the 1st of November 2023, served as a platform for participants to present and discuss innovative project proposals aimed at transforming traditional food systems into more sustainable and climate-resilient models. The proposals ranged from community-based solutions to technological solutions promoting plant-based food, agro-tourism and climate-friendly entrepreneurship.

Building upon the success and enthusiasm generated during the first phase, SLYCAN Trust Youth is hosting the second phase of the "Youth Dialogue on Innovative and Climate-Friendly Food Systems” on the 18th of January 2024. This follow-up event aims to delve deeper into the project proposals put forward by the participants, fostering collaboration and refining ideas for effective implementation.
