The Youth Dialogue on Innovative and Climate-Friendly Food Systems is organised by SLYCAN Trust Youth and will be held in parallel to a Research Dialogue and Entrepreneurs’ Forum on Innovative and Climate-Friendly Food Systems. This youth-oriented dialogue centres on ethical, sustainable, climate-friendly, and resilient food systems and explores key themes, including the transformation of food systems in the face of a changing climate. The event provides a platform for young participants to access insights from expert speakers, engage with like-minded peers, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary for effective climate action within food systems.
Objectives
- To provide a platform for young participants to engage in meaningful dialogue.
- To encourage collaborative efforts among youth to shape sustainable, equitable, and climate-resilient food systems.
- To share global experiences and insights on food innovations and plant-based proteins.
- To equip youth with the necessary tools and knowledge to champion sustainable practices within food systems.
- To empower youth to contribute to a healthier planet by fostering positive changes in food systems.
- To facilitate the drafting and sharing of proposals for innovative action within our food systems.
